Our students work for you.
In 2013 alone, the WSU Creamery paid over $450,000 in wages to more than 60 student employees. In addition to earning a competitive wage working in the Production Department (making cheese and ice cream), at Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe (retail store for creamery products) and the Direct Marketing Department (sales and shipping), the students gain valuable work experience.
Throughout the academic year, it is common for students from Marketing/Business, Journalism, Food Science and other areas of the University to utilize the Creamery as a resource for developing their skills and expertise.
The WSU Creamery Direct Marketing Department currently has non-student, Full-Time employment opportunities available. Please contact David Dean at firstname.lastname@example.org or (509) 335-7519 for more information.
Purchasing cheese from the WSU Creamery helps support student employees of Washington State University by providing competitive wages and valuable work experiences. A portion of the revenue from the sale of WSU Creamery products is used for educational support of Food Science students.
