Shipping
Once received, orders generally ship within two business days and often ship the same day. Shipping may take longer due to customer service issues or weather/shipper related delays. Once shipped, delivery normally occurs within one week. Delivery times may be longer in November and December due to high volume and weather delays.
- Standard deliveries to physical addresses within the contiguous U.S. are made by United States Postal Service (USPS) using First Class Priority Mail, or United Parcel Service (UPS).
- Standard deliveries to PO boxes, APO/DPO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories are made by USPS using First Class Priority Mail.
- Express shipping is available at a higher rate and is only available to physical addresses in the 50 U.S. States (no PO Boxes, APO/DPO/FPO addresses, or U.S. Territories). Once your package ships, it generally arrives the next business day, barring any shipper delays. Some remote areas can take longer.
- Postal (USPS) packages may be delivered on Monday – Sunday.
- UPS and Express packages are generally only delivered Monday – Friday, but some areas may have weekend delivery.
- Other than APO/DPO/FPO addresses and U.S. Territories, we do not ship internationally.
- Coldpack shipping is at a higher rate and is required when warmer temperatures may reduce the quality of the cheese and includes insulated packaging and frozen gel pack(s). ColdPack packages ship Monday – Wednesday. ColdPack orders received after 2 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday will ship the following Monday. Generally, a physical address is required for delivery.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are intended to cover the costs incurred to process, prepare, package, and transport your order, and related customer service. The price of shipping charged by the WSU Creamery is intended to cover these costs and is not intended to generate revenue.
Standard Shipping
Standard shipping is calculated as $12.00 per shipment.
When temperatures are warmer here, along transit routes, and/or at the destination, ColdPack shipping will be required.

Coldpack Shipping
ColdPack shipping consists of Express shipping, insulated packaging, and frozen gel pack(s). Each package holds only 1 – 5 cans of cheese. It is not intended for large orders. Separate shipping costs apply for every 5 cans ordered. ColdPack packages ship Monday – Wednesday. ColdPack orders received after mid-day Pacific time Wednesday will ship the following Monday. This service is required when warmer temperatures may reduce the quality of the cheese.
