In addition to earning a competitive wage working in the Production Department (making cheese and ice cream), at Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe (retail store for creamery products), and the Direct Marketing Department (sales and shipping), the students gain valuable work experience.
Throughout the academic year, it is common for students from Marketing/Business, Journalism, Food Science, and other areas of the University to utilize the Creamery as a resource for developing their skills and expertise.
