Student employees of the WSU Creamery learn to manufacture and market cheese and ice cream products, sometimes earning internship credits for their work. While part-time employment opportunities are available year-round to WSU students, positions are also open to general applicants during the busy fall and winter holiday season.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Customer service, data entry and related paperwork for Cougar Cheese phone, mail , fax and internet orders. Requires excellent keyboarding and communication skills. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Comfortable talking on the telephone. Packaging orders and preparing shipments in a warehouse setting. Requires ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pound packages. General schedule: Part-time, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm (will work around class schedules).

JOB DESCRIPTION: Customer service in Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe. Duties include selling Cougar Cheeses, preparing and selling ice cream drinks, cones, sundaes, coffee drinks and Italian sodas. General schedule: Part-time, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm (will work around class schedules).
Required to work 4 hours before home football game kickoff, Saturday of Mom’s Weekend and Saturday of Commencement Weekend.
