3 lbs lean ground beef
6 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup fresh chives, minced
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
12 – 16 Pretzel rolls
4 ounces of Cougar Gold® cheese, crumbled
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, blue cheese, chives, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt and mustard. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat grill to high heat. Form burger mixture into approximately 3 ounce balls and flatten each ball into patties.
Grill patties on one side for 2-3 minutes. Flip patties and cover each patty with Cougar Gold® crumbles. Grill for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from grill and let rest for a minute or so. Serve on roll.
