Traditional Cheese Fondue
12 ounces Cougar Gold cheese
1 Tbsp (heaping) corn starch
1 clove garlic
1 cup white wine
1 Tbsp kirsch
French bread cut into 1″ cubes
Grate cheese and mix with corn starch. Cut garlic clove in half. Rub garlic clove half on the inside of fondue pot. Finely cut the other garlic clove half and add to pot. Add wine and heat slowly until it begins to bubble. Add cheese mixture slowly, stirring as it melts. When mixture is smooth, add kirsch.
Serve with French bread. Makes 3-4 servings.
