Mini Sausage Wreath
1 14-oz pkg Beef Lit’l Smokies® Cocktail Links
2 8-oz pkgs Pillsbury® Crescents refrigerated dough
1/2 cup WSU Creamery Natural Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1/4 cup melted butter
Assorted dipping sauces
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Drain the liquid off the mini sausages.
Unroll the dough and separate at the perforations to create 4 rectangles per package. Press together at the interior perforations of each rectangle to adjoin. Cut each rectangle into about 1” by 3” strips.
Sprinkle about 2 tsp cheese down each strip. Lay 1 sausage near an end and roll up snuggly so that it is slightly overlapping on the end. Place roll on an ungreased pizza pan, or baking sheet. Continue cutting and rolling with remaining dough strips, cheese and sausages. Place the remaining rolls side by side on the baking sheet to form a circular pattern. Do not crowd or place too close together as to allow for expansion during baking.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Add the chopped rosemary to the melted butter. About halfway through baking, spoon the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls. Continue baking rolls. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
